So you have a guest who is REALLY attached to her length. She doesn’t want many layers, yet, she wants a change!? Well, what do you do? Check out Ms. Kardashian’s side swept bang, or as I call it, “the sexy sweep“. This is a perfect situation to add a sexy sweep to your guest. It’s subtle, yet highly effective. Here’s a quick tip on what to do…
This is Victoria. Now take note, she certainly WILL NOT, under ANY circumstance, cut her length! She’s willing to add a few layers, though, which helps enhance the sexy sweep. This is a situation that occurs quite often.
When sectioning, the key is to use the natural hair pattern to determine how much to add and isolate. Use your mirror, and direct the hair into that sweep. You will see how much you’ll need to cut. Isolate the hair so you can determine what is the bang and what is not.
I used a razor and cut a classic “V bang” shape along her cheek bone. You may want to use shears depending on the texture. Also, this length can be altered, but if you want that “sexy sweep” I suggest to keep it on the longer side.
Now we can see a big difference in Victoria without removing any of her length. She was absolutely thrilled about her sexy sweep and definitely felt like we changed her look. It always amazes me how something so subtle can make such a difference! So when you have that guest who won’t cut her length, yet wants a change, give her a sexy sweep.
That’s my quick tip.
